What storage volume can be expected from these beds designed for studios?
Storage varies depending on the models in the selection. Versions with a storage box under the bed base often offer between 200 and 400 litres, enough to store duvets, seasonal linen, or suitcases. Configurations with a bridge and columns add niches and drawers that replace a chest of drawers and part of a wardrobe. It's this accumulation that makes the difference in a small area.
Are these beds really suitable for small bedrooms and studios?
Yes, that's their purpose. The idea is to group sleeping and storage in the same footprint, so as not to multiply furniture. Does accessing the storage chest remain practical for daily use?
On models with a storage box, the bed base lifts up with gas struts that hold the opening, so you can access the volume without effort and without having to unmake the bed. The side drawers, meanwhile, remain accessible even when the bed is made. This is a point to consider depending on usage: a storage box is suitable for seasonal storage, drawers for everyday items.
