The closed length is generally around 40 to 50 cm, reaching 2 meters or more once all extensions are in place. Most of our models are based on a system of sliding legs or rails that spread apart to accommodate the extensions. The extensions can be stored either inside the top or separately, depending on the model. The process remains simple and requires two people for long lengths, as the top gains weight once extended. The most advanced versions include a synchronized mechanism that aligns the extensions without any effort to adjust.

When closed, an extendable console sometimes measures less than 50 cm deep and can be placed against a wall, behind a sofa, or in an entryway. It then serves as an occasional furniture piece for daily use, then transforms into a dining table when you have guests. The selection includes wood, tempered glass tops, oak effect or lacquer finishes, and metal bases. A glass top is cleaned with a soft cloth and glass cleaner, without abrasives to preserve the surface. For wood or lacquered finishes, a slightly damp cloth is sufficient, avoiding stagnant water at the extension joints. Also, remember to dust the mechanism rails from time to time so that it slides smoothly. These simple steps keep the table fluid during opening over time.
