Is the Lia sofa bed suitable for everyday sleeping?

Yes, the Lia is designed for daily sleeping. Its 17 cm thick mattress provides suitable support for everyday use, resting on the included bed base. The model is available in 140 cm and 160 cm sleeping widths, making it adaptable for one or two people. The mechanism is CATAS certified, guaranteeing reliability for intensive use. To test the comfort of the mattress, you can visit one of La Maison Convertible stores or call us.

What are the dimensions of the Lia sofa when closed and open?

In its 3-seater version, the Lia measures W162 cm x D87 cm x H86 cm when closed, and W162 cm x D203 cm x H86 cm when unfolded into a bed. It is also available in 3.5-seater (W182 cm x D87 cm) and 2.5-seater (W142 cm x D87 cm) versions, with the open depth remaining at 203 cm in all cases. These compact dimensions make it a model particularly suitable for confined spaces, while still offering a real double bed. Allow at least 210 cm of depth in your room to comfortably deploy the bed.

Can I choose the fabric for the Lia sofa bed?

Yes, the Lia is customizable with over 500 fabrics. For personalized advice on fabric selection according to your use and interior, custom fabric orders are placed with the in-store teams.

Is the Lia sofa easy to deliver and install in an apartment?

The Lia is delivered in two separate packages. Depending on the model, it is possible to remove the armrests and/or the backrest, which facilitates passage through stairwells and narrow corridors. For the 3-seater version, package 1 measures W167 cm x D51 cm x H97 cm and package 2 measures W170 cm x D38 cm x H82 cm. The total weight is 85 kg. It is shipped quickly as it is available in stock, with departures within a few days. Be sure to measure your access points (front door, hallway, stairwell) before ordering to ensure the packages can pass through.
