Does the Lyon sofa have a thicker mattress than other convertible models?
Yes, the Lyon is equipped with a 17 cm thick mattress, compared to 13 cm on most convertibles in the range. This mattress rests on the supplied bed base, whose mechanism is CATAS certified for daily use. Deployment takes just a few seconds thanks to the ergonomic mechanism. The 52 cm seat height is slightly higher than average, making it easier to get up. To compare the comfort of the 17 cm mattress with the Grand Confort mattresses, an in-store trial is recommended.
Can I choose the type of armrests for the Lyon sofa?
The Lyon offers two armrest styles: slim or wide, allowing you to adapt the sofa's footprint and aesthetics to your space. Slim armrests optimize seating width in a narrow room, while wide armrests add extra comfort for leaning against. In the 3.5-seater version with wide armrests, the sofa measures 207 cm long by 100 cm deep. Customization extends to over 500 fabrics and leathers, and the model is available as a corner unit, in sets, and in leather. What space should I allow in the room to install the Lyon sofa?
In the 3.5-seater version (the largest), the Lyon occupies 207 x 100 cm when closed and 207 x 218 cm when open. Therefore, you need to allow at least 220 cm of clear depth in front of the sofa to comfortably deploy the bed. The 2.5-seater version (W167 cm) is best suited for compact rooms, with a 120 cm wide sleeping area. Depending on the model, it is possible to remove the armrests and/or backrest to facilitate access to upper floors; the sofa is delivered in 3 packages, the largest measuring 187 x 97 x 51 cm in the 3.5-seater version.
