Marius sofa bed

A wooden slatted base offers a firmer sleeping comfort than a mesh base. Additionally, the separation in the middle of the base reduces the movements of the other sleeper, thus providing better sleep independence.
A slatted base is recommended for a daily-use sofa bed. It offers:

• Firmer lumbar support, beneficial for sleep
• Better ventilation under the mattress, which extends its lifespan
• More stable support under repeated load every night.

The majority of our models designed for daily sleeping are equipped with slatted or mixed bases.

The high-quality slats that make up our bed bases prevent the gradual sagging of the mattress by maintaining better ventilation and ensure a more even distribution of pressure even with daily use.

This sofa bed is available with a slatted base. In-store, try this more accessible base, which also offers greater flexibility.
